Patients eligible for the annual flu shot will receive their invitation in late September or early October.

Patients aged 65 and older will receive the invitation by mail, while patients under 65 will receive it via email. We do this because a large number of patients under 65 do not have a current postal address on file in our system.

The flu shots for all invited patients will be administered on October 22, between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

We have ordered more than enough flu shots this year for everyone invited. We cannot—and are not permitted to—administer the flu shot to patients who have not been selected for it.

If you would like a flu shot but have not received an invitation, you can purchase one from your pharmacy—using a prescription from us and at your own expense—and have it administered at our practice. Please contact us if you wish to do this.
